DC Multiverse 7" Chase Bronze Arkham Batman Figure From McFarlane Toys

by Jay Cochran
September 10, 2020
For those keeping track, it looks like we can add the 7" DC Multiverse Arkham Batman figure as one of the figures from McFarlane Toys to get the bronze/chase treatment along with the Arkham Joker. The image shown below is one they slipped out the other week when they officially announced their new "Chase" series.

We also know from the tease they released back in July the upcoming Arkham Origins Deathstroke will be getting a similar treatment.

As of right now the Joker figure is the only one that has been release which your most likely going to see at Target stores right now.

The Bronze Joker could look cool as a statue for a Jokers Funhouse/Hideout diorama. With an ego as big as Js, he would have a statue of himself somewhere in his lair.

I'm sure it will appeal to some people, to me the whole thing is meh.

I'm having a hard time figuring out if this is cool or completely silly.

Looks like Arkham Batman is also gonna get the bronze chase treatment

These Bronze/Silver/Gold colored figures never really appealed to me and as a chase figure even less.

Several companies are doing this chase variant...even the free toys in our supermarkets has this chase figures which get sold for a ridiculously high price in ebay.....It's a bit hard to collect this chase because having a bronze version standing next to regular ones seem to be a little bit lonely...you need to collect all chase figures then

Joker won't be the last chase figure McFarlane Toys does...

That's an understatement.

I know this is kinda cool and everything... but I dunno... I dislike the idea of variants now more than ever with how scalping is making it near impossible to find everything we want. So even if I don't like this variant in particular, when they announce a variant I want... I'll be SOL anyway... so what's the point?

Seems very McFarlane , remember back in the days the Spawn figures would get Gold/Bronze repaints as more limited variants, so this seems like Todd harkening back to his roots in figure making, kinda cool actually, no interest in the figure but it's fun that it reminds me of the early McFarlane figure days
