Earlier this week we saw McFarlane Toys revealed their
DC Multiverse 7" Dark Nights: Death Metal Batcycle. Today during a DCFandome panel,
Todd McFarlane showed off a prototype for an upcoming
7" DC Multiverse DC Metal Batman The Drowned figure.
Now both the
Batcycle and
The Drowned figure showed up in overseas pre-orders that also included a listings for a
Red Sun Superman and
Damien Robin. Those have not been confirmed by McFarlane but seem like a good bet will be coming soon.
One final thing, thanks to the overseas retailer
HobbyBase, we also have a look at an upcoming
DC Multiverse 2-Pack featuring repaints of the
Arkham Batman and
Joker figures. Its not a great look but you can tell Joker has green around his mouth and on his sleeve. The headsculpt also appears to be the same one used with the
Chase Bronze Joker figure.
Batman has green on his arm as well and looks like has been dirtied up. No word on when, how or where this set will be released in the US.
That Red Son Superman looks bad, they should thrash that mold. Pirates of the Caribbean Batwoman looks cool.
I actually like the Seaweed Aquabatwoman... I'd get that one.
I Luke the Robin, I'd love to see how he looks next to the wave 1 batman.
I preordered my Damian Wayne Robin and the Metal Batman from Target, so excited that I was actually able to preorder something without it selling out in 2 seconds! Especially Damian Wayne, my favorite Robin.

Yes Red Son... alternative earth Supes... can still be de-powered by the red sun LOL... Still a gold star to the Toddster for making this happen! Glad it's not a BAF... sometimes that disappoints ... More power and more diversity, Todd... less reign of the Batmen-ishhhhh, pls LOL

Shown below are new official images for the upcoming 7" DC Multiverse wave which will include Death Metal Batman, The Drowned, Red Sun Superman and Damien Robin.There will be two versions of the Death Metal Batman figure released. This one with the Scythe weapon and then a second with a guitar that will be part of the recently announced Dark Father Build-A-Figure wave.This wave is starting to go up for pre-order now at the big box retailers and will be available everywhere that sells DC Multiverse figures.
I wouldn't be surprised if we a set with batman and the bike together down the road.
Final product looks good I wonder how it will scale with my Marvel Legends Ghost Rider figures.
