Earlier
this month we told you how some overseas etailers had started listing for pre-order a
DC Multiverse 7" Hellbat Lunar New Year Edition figure from
McFarlane Toys.
The figure is now being listed here in the US via
Diamond Distributors with a May 26, 2021 release date. It's not known if this figure will only be available at comic and specialty shops or if it will be sold everywhere DC Multiverse figures are sold.
Images for the figure have yet to be released. The going assumption is that the figure will just be a simple repaint of the previous Hellbat figure McFarlane Toys did. I've seen this image used by some of the overseas retailers as reference for the figure which shows it with black and gold colors as opposed to black and red. We know how McFarlane loves gold for it's variants, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is in fact what the figure ends up looking like. Hopefully more details or images will be made available soon.

Shown below are official images for the Batman Hellbat Gold Edition DC Multiverse figure from McFarlane Toys which is now up for pre-order at Gamestop. The figure is listed with an April 2, 2021 release date. This figure should eventually be made available everywhere.

While only officially announced last month, the new DC Multiverse 7" Hellbat (Gold) Lunar New Year Edition variant figure has already started showing up overseas. Check out this new in-hand image via Ht Toyshop of the figure below.McFarlane had previously said this figure will start to go up for pre-order here in the US sometime in February.
yeah the gold Hellbat actually looks pretty decent, but I'm happy with sticking with the Black Version.

McFarlane Toys has finally revealed their DC Multiverse 7" Hellbat Lunar New Year Edition figure. The figure is a repaint of the previous Hellbat only in gold with red trim. We were pretty close gussing what it would be. We had gold with black trim. Anyway the figure is coming in 2021 with pre-order going live in February, at least in the US. Overseas etailers have been taking pre-orders for it for several weeks now.

So just a quick update on that Lunar New Year Hellbat, its now being listed in Diamond Distributor's Previews with a May 2021 release. Still no image but the first listing here in the US I've seen for it.

Yeah, I'm excited for the Batman Beyond. Great addition to the Batman family. And the hellbat variant, hmmmm I'm curious as to the design.
