Shown below are the official images for the DC Multiverse 7" Swamp Thing Megafig (Regular Version) figure from McFarlane Toys. You can pre-order this figure from our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.

While scientist Alec Holland was working on a formula to grow plant life where there is none, a rival organization vying for the formula, set off a bomb that covered Alec covered in his bio-restorative serum. To escape the flames of the explosion, he stumbled into a nearby swamp where he mutated into the strange hero known as Swamp Thing! Swamp Thing has superhuman strength and the ability to regenerate any portion of his body. He can also command plants to do his bidding and change locations instantly by inhabiting vegetation anywhere in the world.

This 7-inch scale figure is designed with McFarlane's signature Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range and posing. Each DC Multiverse figure includes a collectible art card with artwork on the front and character biographies on the back.

The figure comes with a base and spike hand. Look for it to be released in November.

This is different from the Gamestop exclusive version we told you about yesterday which will be going up for pre-order at 8am ET later today. That one has the antlers on the head.

Has anyone who ordered this from GameStop received it yet?

Here's a question for anyone who has this, and has Man-Thing Legends BAF head, can I put the Man-Thing head on this? I know I doubt this head even comes off and likely that Man-Thing head won't even go on, but I can dream and wonder.

Regular version much better than the horns. For me anyway.

I feel this might be the best Swamp Thing ever made but I feel it is too large, at least for my liking.

I'm also surprised at the size, and not really in a good way. It seems way out of scale with 7" or 6" figures. I know Swamp Thing can change size and shape, but I thought and hoped he'd be depicted in his usual form, which is large but not twice the size of a person. So I had anticipated it to be around the size of a Marvel BAF similar to Hulk. This is much larger and makes me reconsider whether I want to keep my pre-order.

I was not expecting it to be that big. I hope they do the classic and New 52 versions of him too.

Wow. This looks like it may turn out even better than I had hoped. Im excited to get him in hand. Still glad I have the horned one coming.
