DC Multiverse 7" New 52 Cyborg Superman And DC Multiverse Gold Label Dark Flash Variants Revealed!?!

Shown below via Hong Kong Toy Photographer jwmp_show are images for what appears to be a new 7" scale DC Multiverse New 52 Cyborg Superman figure as well as the two variants for the DC Multiverse Gold Label Dark Flash from McFarlane Toys.

These images first surfaced online this past Saturday which of course was April Fools day causing much speculation on whether these were legit or not. I decided to reach out to jwmp_show to ask him about these figures. He confirmed for me that these are his images and that he did not post them as an April Fools joke. He believes these are figures that leaked out from the factory and likely figures that will eventually see release from McFarlane. He provided an image of the TM stamp on the underside of the Superman cape which you can see below. He believes the Cyborg Superman will be part of a 2-pack with a Recovery Suit Superman figure which he says he has also seen.

As for the DC Multiverse Gold Label Dark Flash figure, here in the US we have seen the open mouth version which is a Walmart exclusive, and while the other two versions are featured on the back of the packaging, we have yet to see them actually be released.

We can't confirm 100% how legit these figures are, but the person who took the images seems fairly convinced they are legit figures. So we are showing them to you here for your viewing pleasure and you can share your own thoughts about them. If or when more details are officially made available on these, we will be sure to update you here.

I've been thinking about that cyborg. And I'm wondering if he might see a mega figure release

This is actually a nice looking Flash figure. Nice to finally see a McFarlane figure without those skinny chicken legs.

Cy borg look really cool, I just wish he wasn't a build a figure since I don't want anyone in the wave.

Whoa that Cyborg Super-Man is crazy cool, also why does that figure look import quality? McF doing something new with the articulation?

It's not a bad design, though like with the Eradicator I'd certainly prefer a Reign of the Supermen version. And I was actually wondering what the deal was with the Dark Flash variants. I'd seen the open mouthed ones out in the wild a couple of times, but no other version. Guess that answers that.

Looks good to me. I say good for Mcfarlane doing new versions of tired designs that have been done to death. There are plenty of garbage companies that made craptastic figures that appeal to grandpa panty loving DC fans. EBAY is your source.

Why won't McFarlane do superman figures people actually want? New 52 variant of cyborg superman was the worst one but leave it to Todd to pick the obscure version no one asked for. He also seems to purposely leave the cape S emblem off of Supes figures that should have it...not that hard to add. I add them myself with waterslide decals glued to capes when necessary...but it should already be part of the sculpt. Small details, yes, but the little things can make the biggest difference and matter the most. Hard to support McFarlane with desicisions like this. Get a clue Todd. Just my 2 Happy collecting!

That Superman's elbow looks like a MAFEX joint. Is McFarlane upgrade their articulation scheme?
