Whacky whacky Toddy! But...I'm grabbing batman to be my MASTERVERSE BATROS!!!
For anyone interested in the story behind these:
"Theorizing absolute zero experimentation would slow the disease afflicting his wife NORA, MR. FREEZE and his beloved bride are accidentally thrust 16,000 years into the past. Seeking to return to their proper century, the frigid fiend attempts to recreate the unintentional circumstances of his time-manipulation experiment, callously unleashing a deadly new ice age upon the surrounding lands. ROBIN, a brave young warrior from a neighboring tribe, pleads for aide from BATMAN, the noble leader of the BAT-CLAN. Recognizing the existential threat to their peoples, BATMAN, ROBIN and the stoic BATGIRL forge an alliance to stop the criminal king of cold!"
I'll personally be passing on these unless I find them on clearance for under $10 each.
Looks exactly like the Hush series!
I wish McFarlane paid more attention to getting product out than all of these supposed teases. I ordered the Batman Hush blue figure only to have it cancelled by them. I mean, does anyone really want crappy figure like this compared with a good Batman figure? I sure dont.
I'll pick up Cave-Bats for the novelty of it. The rest I'll give props to their uniqueness but are hardly essential additions to my collection and are probably destined for the clearance fate that seems to eventually befall half of McFarlane's output anyway. Maybe I'll bite then.
