No, this is an objectively bad figure. No contrarian mental gymnastics is going to convince anyone otherwise lol.
I actually first saw only the figure without of the context of the Jim Lee artwork and had no idea what I was even looking at. Then seeing the art, it makes sense, just very, very poorly done. I feel like the concept could work though but maybe this isnt the buck for it or just too many articulation cuts.
This looks fantastic and I'd rather have stuff like this than crap all gold or grey garbage. This is at least a legit thing that appeared in print. He's learning from Super7.
Yeesh, that's hideous. I know he's going to keep going wild with repaints, at this point that's to be expected, but why bother doing releases based on nothing more than promo art? Surely there are better opportunities for figures that would actually move, right?

No, I get it. It's obvious what Todd and friends were going for based on the box art. I just don't think they were successful.
