Totally agree with you! Lately it's been nothing but repaints. I'm done with these figures no one asked for. Let's get some more unique stuff.

I'm guessing we can expect about a year and a half of this. I hopped on the first two or so that were released but the novelty has already worn thin. I don't think the general community is sustainably going to be interested in paying a jacked-up price for odd repaints on figures that didn't even manage to sell out at MSRP in their original form. Scarcity is not going to make these valuable in the long run, except for maybe one or two that REALLY look impressive, because he's going to flood the market with as many figures in this style as he can get away with, and it'll take a while to pump the breaks even after people stop buying them. Power to the people that love them, I know they'll continue to sell out for a while, but I'm good.
It just feels so lazy and cynical to me.
