In 1992, the first SPAWN comic broke sales records, and by 1995, the Spawn action figure set new standards in the toy industry. Now, Todd McFarlane is bringing a remastered version of the 1995 MEDIEVAL SPAWN figure and comic through Kickstarter. Backers can choose from three color variations–– classic blue, bold black, and all-gray artist's prototype. Autographed figures, including an Autographed Classic Blue Medieval Spawn, will be available, with additional autographed Black Edition and Artist's Prototype figures available exclusively in the Premium 3-Pack. Both Standard and Premium 3-Packs will feature all three figures and include an exclusive accessory–– the large sword, a remastered version of the original 1995 Medieval Spawn Sword. Update #22 says a backer survey from PledgeManager will be going out in the next few days. This should be where folks will be asked for their shipping info.
I went back and forth on this a lot, I mean $80 (after shipping) for a decent figure with some nice accessories is still a lot, but in the end I backed it. Never done a Kickstarter before, though. I'm guessing McFarlane will contact with regards to shipping information? Because I sure didn't see any place to give that info on the Kickstarter site itself.
Just got charged. Can't wait! ?

A little over 20 hours to go, and the campaign is currently at $1,906,876. If the project reaches $2,000,000 by 10:00 AM EST tomorrow, the final four bonus accessories will be unlocked. Those are:-The second "Classic" Spawn gauntlet-The morning star-The closed-mouth hamburger head (will be available for all figures and no longer exclusive to the black and graysilver variants)-The soft helmet, which fits over the hamburger head(s)Also, all comic books included will have foil portions (regardless of the final dollar amount). The blue variant figure will have the "Medieval Spawn" title inembossed red foil with red foil borders on the sides. The black variantwill have the "Medieval Spawn" title in embossed green foil with green foil borders on the sides. The silver figure will have the "Medieval Spawn" title in embossed silver foil with silver foil borders on the sides.
Really does look great but I really don't like this funding method of accessories as unlocks to get the full figure ...just feels weird

As I report this the campaign has obtained $1,810,271 in funding.With the $1 million milestone, Todd McFarlane has released a new videos laying out some more extra accessories that will now be included with the figure(s).
