McFarlane MLB Announces Upcoming Lineup For 2005

McFarlane Toys announced today what seems to be a great lineup for the Spring & Summer of 2005 when it comes to Major League Baseball and some of their upcoming toys!

The following is just a listing of what is coming out from McFarlane Toys and more information can by found by clicking here.

First up is a deluxe MLB boxed set featuring Barry Bonds and Willie Mays.

Bonds 3, San Francisco Giants LF, No. 25


Mays, San Francisco Giants CF, No. 24


Both represent two eras of Giants baseball and long-ball specialists. This item will be exclusive to Toys R Us stores in the U.S. and Canada and is set to retail in April 2005.

Next, McFarlane has a variety of 12-inch-scale baseball figures. McFarlane will release a special large-scale version of our second Barry Bonds sculpt -- the fingers-to-the-sky post-home run pose. This will be available to all retailers in the white Giants uniform, while Toys R Us stores will have it in the Giants grey uniform. This will hit stores in early May.



A 12-inch version of New York Yankees superstar shortstop Derek Jeter in his second pose. This will be available to all retailers.



Finally, McFarlane Toys has a pair of legendary Cooperstown Collection baseball figures coming in 12-inch scale.

Babe Ruth (New York Yankees outfielder, No. 3)



Cal Ripken Jr. (Baltimore Orioles shortstop, No. 8)



Both will be available to all retailers in early summer. Ruth will also be in a new pose, different from his original 6-inch version.
