way overpriced figures

the castle looks fun but I'm afraid since it is cardboard it won't last very long if used

Is it cardboard? I mean, that explains the price, but... it just feels weird! I kinda dig it tho

They do some 6" scale also such as the Batman '66 and DC Animated stuff. I think they've done more than that in that scale, but that's all that I've personally bought from them in that scale. 6" (1/12th) is definitely my preferred scale as well.

I don't generally collect at this scale anymore, but since this is listed at only $30 I might jump on it to use with some of my older collections that are at this scale (Marvel Universe, DC Infinite, GI Joe, Star Wars, etc). I have no interest in the 3.75" LOTR in general, though.

I completely forgot about the Batman animated stuff. I think in my mind I was still associating that line with DC Direct as apposed to McFarlane, even though McFarlane is releasing them now.

Looks like the Extreme Sets dioramas.

This playset looks like it's just straight up cardboard, kinda cheap, but it looks massive and pretty cool, but the fact it's Cardboard kinda seems a bit cheap o.

So it would seem that 6in scale is like the only scale that McFarlane doesnt touch at this point. Its weird since that is essentially the most popular scale currently.

That aside, these figures look neat. Not sure I will get them, especially since I really didnt even know this movie was coming out until this article, but they look decent for their size. They dont really have the anime look that the trailer has though.
