I ordered the whole wave...will I keep that pre-order is based on many factors. I like these because I remember the game fondly but also I like how different they are from most stuff McFarlane Toys puts out.

They are really cool and unique. Reminds me of the comic and cartoon stuff neca does for the various lines! I personally dont need them but I cant deny the details on the paint/printing is awesome!??

I didn't notice at first these had some video game inspired shading, and now that I see it, I don't enjoy it, cool concept on paper but looks poorly executed, I wanted to like these figures more then I do, but I am in the end saying I'm out, but still very much interested in seeing what a Wonder Woman, Cheetah and Despero might look like.

Their faces are all super weird, especially Superman. What comic are these based on? Some early 2000s thing? The boxes feel like they are from Superfriends.

Video game from the 90s. Justice League Task Force.

Getting a better look, I'll eat my words. Even Flash doesn't look decent. No acetone in the world is going to un-digitize his chest emblem.

Yeeeaahh, I actually pre-ordered him this morning, but after looking at him again, and telling myself "There's no way they're not going to eventually release him again without the pixely paint" I decided to cancel it

Out of curiosity, does your feeling on that extend to the headsculpts, or is it just the deco choices that you like?

Man, that's a statement. Some tough competition there. There are a lot of rough Superman heads in the line. This is definitely up there, though.

I mean the heads look fine? They look like the 90s super square jawed look they had back then. Idk Mcfarlane heads are hit or miss to me. They seem fine as variants. Im not gonna go for them due to budget and being holiday season but like I wouldnt mind being gifted them or getting them on a sale.

They do look cool! The pixel art emblems and cell shading is cool! They work great as a stand-alone line! Looks like something Neca has done before! With that being said, I think a lot of people on here are more worried about continuity with pre-existing toys. These work well together but dont go with anything else in the line. I will be passing on them but the figures themselves are creative and cool!

That Superman could be the worst one of the entire line.

Is that the ugly ass Death Metal Superman face again?!!

I see what you mean, but no, I checked and it's a different head. It's close though. Tbh I think this one is worse
