That Superman makes me once again ask the question, "Who in the HE** gives the green light for things at McFarlane to go to production?" Whether it's ridiculous head sculpts or ridiculously out-of-proportion bodies or figs that are ridiculously inconsistent with the source material, I just can't imagine who uses what criteria to say, "Hey! Let's send this gem to production!" They are capable of incredibly good work, but then you see things like this that just make no sense.
These look much better in hand. I dont like that I have to buy each one twice since all 5 figures have crazy 90s color Platinums. Todd, what happened to 1 chase figure per wave? Why must every Collector figure and some lesser lines have variants for every figure? I can find them easy enough, but the cost is what hurts. I cant wait for the Platinum Batmobile/figure combo. He kind of did it with Jonah Hex but that was easy enough to get off of the Walmart website. Its still a $55 variant.
These could've been really cool. They should have been directly INSPIRED by the game, but not such a LITERAL translation of the game designs. The messy pixelated pseudo-cell shading stuff, it just doesn't work, you know?
Well, I didn't really think you could make these look worse, but there you have it.
Superman's neck and shoulders look really weird... They just don't fit right.
..... Unfortunate

They are really cool and unique. Reminds me of the comic and cartoon stuff neca does for the various lines! I personally dont need them but I cant deny the details on the paint/printing is awesome!??

I didn't notice at first these had some video game inspired shading, and now that I see it, I don't enjoy it, cool concept on paper but looks poorly executed, I wanted to like these figures more then I do, but I am in the end saying I'm out, but still very much interested in seeing what a Wonder Woman, Cheetah and Despero might look like.
