Okay, so the grey in his hair is looking a little better, but I still think it should be more obvious

I found 2 Captain Thunders at a Target the other day, so you can still find them if youre lucky. Gamestop, Books-a-Million and Best Buy are also good places to find rare character. I found The Question at Books-a-Million and tons of Platinums at all 3 places.

Everyone misses someone.) So I see a lot of time and opportunities wasted,(often on stupid things) I regret those opportunities. It was good what was good but it could have been better, and now for the last few months to get his act together and try to make up for five years of lost time, well.. I don't know. Otherwise, the figures are good, the Hourman is the body of THE SPECTRE (CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS) but that's ok it's good, Connor Hawke is good though it's a shame they can't do the bows and case better, he always falls out of it like the others.
There are hundreds of figures in the line. Lots of Batmans were released in the beginning because those are guaranteed sales. There are more non-Batman now but Batman still sells the best, so youre going to get a lot of Batmans. Mattel did the same thing and Kenner/Hasbro released 200+ Batmans and maybe 300+. I know they released a special figure every 100 figures and there were at least 2 of them.
Also, Mcfarlane was limited to what he could release at first. Toy companies can only release what the rights owner will allow. He stated in an interview a couple years ago that DC/WB finally allowed him to have full access so this is why collectors of this line are eating well now. It takes alot longer than 6 months to bring a figure out. Double and triple that and thats how long is normal depending on what it is. Weve been getting amazing figures for the past couple of years and there were plenty before that as well. Expect nothing but the same for the next 15 months. Ge puts out up to 120 to 150 per year so the line is going to feature a huge cast when its all said and done. And yes there will be plenty more Batman figures joining them and I welcome them.
Anyone knows where and when that Starman would be available? How about the Supergirl? McFarlane has outdone himself this time.

I definitely wouldn't say it's early. I've had mine from Amazon since November. I ended up buying the Platinum Captain Thunder version off of a Canadian retailer's site (Toy Snowman) just last month, though. They're sold out of both versions now. I've never seen any version in the wild and I believe they're sold out at all of the sites that I frequent. The only place I see it still for sale is on ebay. I feel your pain though, I had to finally break down and buy Geo-Force off of ebay because I never saw it any of my Targets and it was never listed online.
Definitely want the Kingdom Come Superman and Ill probably get Supergirl too.

I don't want to offend anyone or anything, I say, I collect McFarlane too, but I still think he somehow got it wrong. That Conner looks great ,but we should've gotten a classic Ollie first. Well there's always Mattel.
I love that Connor Hawke GA! That is a must have. I'll almost certainly buy that Hourman as well assuming that I can find them both.
I will not personally miss McFarlane. I've never gotten over my bitterness of them changing to the 7" scale after I had collected hundreds of DC figures at 6", but I still have a number of figures that McF has done that I truly love, and right now this Connor GA looks like it will be end up being one of those.
I have high hopes for Mattel, but only time will tell. In the meantime I hope that we continue to get some more cool vehicles from McFarlane and maybe some more civilian characters and Legion of Super Heroes.
So glad to see Connor finally getting a modern figure, so hope I can snag him. I doubt we're going to get that deep into the DCU that quickly with whatever Mattel kicks off next year.
It's a shame it took so long for McFarlane to really start branching out the line to be more representative of the broader DC universe rather than the "All Batman, all the time" reputation that the McMultiverse line earned from their early years (fairly or not). Over the past year or so, it feels like they've finally realized that they can do so much more with the license and it's become a lot more interesting, if still hampered by weird release approaches in terms of both consistency and regularity. Other toy industry insiders have said the contents of a line are generally heavily dictated by the license holder, but Todd has always stated he can do whatever he wants, so I wonder if the Bat-focus was mandated by DC or if it was just what he wanted to do and it's only been a recent softening of his views rather than DC trusting them more to choose their own characters?
