McFarlane Toys Platinum Edition Jade, Cyborg Superman, Sentient Hologram Eradicator

Yesterday we saw the newest DC Multiverse wave with Western World Batman, Return Of Superman Eradicator and Armored Hal Jordan figures go up for pre-order.

We wanted to just recap that besides those regular figures, the wave may also include several other different chase figures. As part of the Red Platinum Edition series it looks like the wave might include a Return Of Superman Cyborg Superman as well as the Green Lantern Jade. We got our first look at Jade last month when it has popped up overseas along witth the Armored Hal Jordan.

The only indication that the Cyborg Superman figure is included in this wave is with the case breakdown revealed by our sponsor Entertainment Earth.

It should be noted that the EE breakdown does not mention the Green Lantern Jade figure or a third Platinum Edition figure that may be included in the wave which we are referencing as Sentient Hologram Eradicator. An official images for that one popped up online yesterday along with the regular figures. While we have seen the Jade figure pop up in the wild we have not yet seen any signs of the Cyborg Superman or the Hologram Eradicator figures anywhere.

When we get any additional details for any of these figures we will be sure to let you know.

Because that's what he looks like from the source that this version is taken from? He's a hologram. It's the perfect Platinum variant.

Eradicator isn't a hologram, at least not in the Return of Superman story - he has a facsimile body. Even if they were going for an 'energy form' version (which isn't correct to be 'in costume'), that should be yellow, not blue.

I am sick of chase variants! All of McFarlane's figures are chase because they only make about 5 of everything! Just sell the figures (INDIVIDUALLY) and stop being an *** about it!

I still say that by choosing green instead of black, McFarlane has made Jade look like she isn't wearing bottoms. This figure wasn't high on my list anyway and being a Platinum I would probably have never had the option to purchase her, but that green means I have no interest in her at all.

With her spindly legs and arms, she looks like she didn't just skip gym day, she's boycotting gyms for life. Ugh.

It should have been a darker shade of green, or perhaps black with green highlights, but making it flat black would have looked wrong too

As usual, Eradicator's neck is too short again. (If only that were the only problem.)
