Those people exist, they just happen to be called the 4 Horsemen. McFarlane's business model with a lot of these DC figs is to generally put them out with glaring issues, then later on put out a slightly improved version, so that people buy them again. The fun part is that this is the slightly improved version.
Makes no sense how this figure got the go ahead and the neck is non-existent! Someone should care about making the best figure possible.
Those solid joints against the translucent plastic really stand out on Platinum Eradicator, and not in a good way.
Shown below are official images of the McFarlane Toys DC Mutiverse Platinum Edition Eradicator Figure
I don't much like the Eradicator here, looks too bulky and that cape being proposed like that severely limits posing. On the other hand I really like that Cyborg Superman!! Fabric cape, looks to be fully painted as well but here is the thing, I can't find this figure online or in-store as of now. Not sure if this figure is purposely limited or will be widely available later on. I hope to get Cyborg Superman here, it looks like it could be one of Mcfarlanes best in this line, it would be a shame if this figure is limited in anyway.
It's a very good figure, I just don't understand why the poor Eradicator couldn't have gotten such a good cape, lest the first version be offended? I wonder what Todd will come up with next year, I mean what will he replace DC's absence with, maybe other comic rights, Dark Horse Comics characters would suit Todd (Hellboy et al) or something else, maybe even some video games?(There's plenty to choose from there.) Maybe movie rights, say James Bond, he could make 7-inch figures (good ones bad ones) there are quite a few characters in there.

I don't think these are really exclusive to gamestop. Maybe early release but not exclusive

I was at a con this past weekend and one of the vendors had a couple of platinum task force figures. We shared a good laugh about how Platinum Supes is probably the ugliest thing McFarlane has put out in the entire line. I can't fathom why anyone would want those figures outside of morbid curiosity, but anyway, looks like it's sold out.
