A Number Of New McFarlane DC Multiverse Figures Hit Overseas Giving Us In-Hand Looks

June 20, 2025
In what has become an all to common trend with McFarlane stuff, a ton of new product has started hitting overseas at places like Brodepot well before they even go up for pre-order here in the U.S. Most of these were just announced last week during the most recent McFarlane Toys Show.

Two items that were not announced include a basic cardback Hush Superman and Three Jokers Batman. These have no accessories and look similar to the Superman Movie figure that McFarlane said here in the U.S. would be released as a ROSS store exclusive. It's unclear if these two figures will also be ROSS exclusives or not.

Other figures shown below include the following:

DC Multiverse Merciless and Batman Who Laughs 2-Pack

7" DC Page Punchers - Superboy, Wonder Woman Issue #1 Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor

Note the Steve Trevor figure appears to be a Red Platinum figure.

7" DC Phygital wave - Monarch and Disco Nightwing

Target Exclusive DC Multiverse Mr. Miracle and Sandman.

DC Multiverse Batwing 2.0 and Batman Troika.

Note the DC Multiverse Azrael from Knightquest (Black and Gold) has been spotted overseas but not shown here.

Also shown are Red Platinum versions of multi-color Batman in Green and Yellow.

Collector's Editions! Now completely indistinguishable from a standard release!

"Pay us more because we put it in the other box!" - Toddy Mac

That Merlyn headsculpt looks atrocious as well. Just... Does the company on the whole have senioritis at this point? Stuff like this pushes me to want to drop McFarlane well before Mattel takes the reigns. Collector's Editions at least used to try to give you some value for the over-inflated buck. Now they're not even doing that. Love the characters, but passing on this nonsense. There are better figures in the same price range from companies that are willing to put in actual effort and value for the money.

The McFarlane Toys Dark Archer (Green Arrow) McFarlane Collector Edition #40 Figure pre-order launches JULY 17th at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Also shown here are the Darkstars and Metron with Morbius Chair which will most likely also be going up for pre-order on the same day.

So basically everyone who isn't in San Diego will have to pay $80 on eBay? I feel for all the scalpers on this one lol Dont think its gonna sell many at that price.

It was one sale at Walmart and gamestop for like 2 days. I got one at my house that that delivered while I was at work from Walmart.

Was all prepared to get thatDC Multiverse Batman (Arkham City) Knightmare Edition after it was very firsts announced, but after seeing the black mouth area, don't think so. Looks odd to me. If they reversed the colors (so the cowl was black and the mouth area gold, that may have worked better.) The box art kind of supports a similar idea, as you notice they did not color that area black (or darker than the cowl there, because it would have looked bad.)

What strange color choices for Lockdown. He looks like he belongs in the Legion of Super Heroes.

Merciless looks great in red, but not enough to re-buy at McFarlane's inflated big/little 2-pack price.

Apparently, this was a pricing error. Instead of honoring it, Gamestop is adjusting (i.e., increasing) the prices on orders placed.

Shown below is the new McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse The Batman Who Laughs (Knight Armor) & The Merciless (Dark Multiverse) McFarlane Collector Edition 2-Pack is available for pre-order at Walmart.com.

Do a google search of "McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse The Batman Who Laughs (Knight Armor) & The Merciless (Dark Multiverse) McFarlane Collector Edition 2-Pack"to find it at Walmart. Walmart's own search facility is worthless. Couldn't find it that way at all.

It's also available at Gamestopthe-batman-who-laughs-knight-armor-and-mercilesfor $10 less than it is at Walmart.

Mr. Miracle and Sandman will both be purchases for me, assuming that I can ever find them.
