This black Metron looks almost like Marvel's Black Bolt, but that's okay. (Although I still like the blue one better.)

Oh I knew the ban didn't come from him. Whatever issues I may have with his figures, he didn't make that policy. Which is why I pointed out he made a weapons pack under his own brand, not Warners, that could be used for these DC figures.

I also mistakenly believe the ban of firearms was a Mcfarlane policy until someone pointed out the directive came from Warner, probably because was implemented during the McFarlane years since it didn't have those restrictions with Mattel.

Probably a change of staff at Warners licensing, I expect.
This is one of the few occasions in which both the regular release and the Collector Edition are comic accurate and not a senseless repaint.

That was a rule for a while, but now it seems if the words "Not a Toy" are included somewhere in promos/packaging it's fine.
