Sometimes love can make people do crazy things. Other times? It drives them completely insane. Such is the case with Harley Quinn, formerly Dr. Harleen Quinzel.

A promising psychologist and intern at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City, Harleen was given the chance to get up close and personal with the Joker, an experience that wound up ending…badly. Harleen became obsessed with her subject, and after falling madly in love with the Clown Prince of Crime, she helped him escape the asylum. Her love for the Joker inspired Harleen to adopt a new identity, that of Harley Quinn, the Joker’s sidekick-slash-love interest—whether he wanted one or not.

Is this trend of Mcfarlane of making figures of one incarnation with characteristics of another one, like that Silver Age Two -Face with BTAS colors.

I think it's more the trend of McFarlane always looking for a quick repaint ?

No, this seems to be more an homage to the Alex Ross art that was used as the cover of Batman: Harley Quinn #1 (which introduced Harley to the mainstream DC comic universe during the No Man's Land storyline) than either the BTAS Mad Love one-shot comic or the adaptation of that story in The New Batman Adventures cartoon. I don't believe we've ever had Joker in a back suit in the animation.

Apparenly they're taking one headsculpt of the Joker Expressions Pack and putting them in different Joker releases.

Nice to see 'tuxedo' Joker finally making it out - the old DC Collectables Mad Love set was solicited with a black suit Joker alone with negligee Harley but we ended up with just another 'standard' Joker instead. These product pictures seem a tad on the shiny side but at least it doesn't seem to have obnoxious cel-shading colors!

This is nice, but Uncle Todd needs to guve us a better Harley in the.multuverse line, preferably a modern one.

Ah (waving his hand), he's afraid of girls, probably some teenage trauma. (By the way, you're right, he really should do it.)
