Major League Baseball produced a huge building wrap-around banner for Toys 'R' Us Times Square to promote baseball's licensed goods. The banner includes McFarlane Toys' Sports Picks Carlos Beltran baseball action figure. The banner and Beltran loom large and will be up until Sept 4th, 2005. Beltran is now on record as the largest Sports Pick ever!
This weekend's giveaway at Yankee stadium will mark the second giveaway of McFarlane Toys figures by the New York Yankees and the fourth baseball SGA this year. Saturday, August 27th, the New York Yankees will be giving away Yogi Berra/Jorge Posada 3-inch two-packs to the first 18,000 fans 14 and under through the gate. This 3-inch two-pack features both players in the classic pinstripes uniform. Game time is 1:05 PM as the Yankees take on the Kansas City Royals.
