**Press Release**
You love his work on PROMETHEA for America's Best Comics. Now he's guaranteed to provide stunning art for DC for at least two more years!
Fan-favorite artist J.H. Williams III, currently providing groundbreaking psychedelic art for the PROMETHEA and covers for JSA, has signed a two-year exclusive contract with DC Comics. The fabulously innovative award-winner is well-known for his ability to work in a variety of styles and media.
"In the thirteen years or so I've been working in this business, WildStorm/DC has been the most pleasurable and fulfilling to work with," says Williams. "I feel I'm at my best when I have as few limits and as many possibilities as feasible. I'm confident that this will only be the beginning of my further collaboration with the pioneering DC Comics."
"J.H. Williams doesn't play it safe," says Scott Dunbier, Wildstorm's Executive Editor. "With each page, in any medium, he brings something new and fresh to what he does, and always in service of good storytelling."
Williams' first new project under the contract will be the post-modern detective story DESOLATION JONES, a WildStorm series written by Warren Ellis. According to Dunbier, DESOLATION JONES is like "The Prisoner for the twenty-first century."
