**IDENTITY CRISIS IN NEW YORK TIMES**

September 15th, 2004 -

"The fourth chapter of IDENTITY CRISIS, a seven-part mystery that forces the DC Comics superheroes to question their culpability in a vengeful murder, is on sale today. The series, which began in June, has been one of this summer's top-selling comic books. The events in IDENTITY CRISIS stem from the rape of a hero's wife and the Justice League's questionable retaliation. The series is written by Brad Meltzer, a thriller novelist and the co-creator of "Jack & Bobby," a new WB television drama. "I'm absolutely humbled by the reaction," Mr. Meltzer said in a telephone interview. "The No. 1 compliment I've gotten is, 'I don't read comics, but I'm reading this.'" "

**IDENTITY CRISIS #1 GOES BACK TO PRESS!**

September 21st, 2004 -

Were you one of the unlucky few to miss out on the landmark IDENTITY CRISIS #1? If so, fear not! DC is going back to press on the issue that kicked off the 7-issue murder-mystery written by Brad Meltzer (GREEN ARROW) with art by Rags Morales & Michael Bair (HAWKMAN) and covers by Michael Turner (SUPERMAN/BATMAN)!

IDENTITY CRISIS #1 Second Printing, scheduled to hit stores on October 13 with a cover price of $3.95, features an alternate cover by Turner, presenting a "negative" version of the original pencils without inking or coloring.

"You can't tell a good story without great characters, and IDENTITY CRISIS not only opens up the hearts and the minds of the heroes we know, but it spotlights the ones we should know," says Morales. "That said, the miniseries' success shows how intelligent our audience and retailers are — literature really works in comics! A big, hearty thank you to all our supporters."
