The much-anticipated IDENTITY CRISIS #1 Second Printing - featuring an alternate "negative" cover image - has sold out at DC Comics a full week before its original in-store date of October 13! Please note that copies of this issue still may be available at your local comic book store.
This new version of the initial issue of the blockbuster miniseries is written by New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer with art by Rags Morales & Michael Bair and covers by Michael Turner and has been rescheduled to arrive in stores on October 20, the same day as IDENTITY CRISIS #5.
"Thanks to DC for supporting this book with a new printing, which allows people to read it at the original price," says Meltzer. "And thanks to the incredible support of retailers and readers who bought the first printing and were there from the start. They're the only reason we're here, and the only reason people started talking about it!"
IDENTITY CRISIS #6 is scheduled to be in stores on November 10, and IDENTITY CRISIS #7 is scheduled to be in stores on December 15.
DC has no plans to go back to press on IDENTITY CRISIS #1 at this time.
