More Superman Creative Change-ups for 2005

by NMX
December 22, 2004
2005 is shaping up to be another interesting year for the Man of Steel...

Mark Verheiden of Smallville fame will be taking over the writing chores on Superman, to be joined by Birds of Prey penciller Ed Benes on art, while Birds of Prey writer Gail Simone will pen Action Comics for the art of industry veteran John Byrne. Greg Rucka will remain the writer on Adventures of Superman, with Karl Kerschl (fresh off his work on Majestic) joining him as the new series artist.

Another Superman title will also launch later in 2005 as a part of DC Comics new "All-Star" initiative, to be written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Frank Quitely.
