JSA CLASSIFIED #1, presenting the long-awaited origin of Power Girl, has sold out at DC Comics one day after reaching stores on July 20. This issue features the first part of the 4-issue story "Power Trip," written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Amanda Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti.
Now, DC Comics sends the issue back to press for a new printing featuring a pencil version of the cover by Adam Hughes!
"Wow!" says Conner. "I knew that JSA CLASSIFIED would do pretty well' cause when I'm at conventions a lot of people tell me that they love Power Girl...but I had no idea the book would sell out and go to a second printing. Woo-hoo!"
"The response to this issue from readers and retailers has been very positive," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP Sales. "Retailers should place orders on the new printing as soon as possible, as well as increasing orders on upcoming issues."
JSA CLASSIFIED #1 Second Printing (JUN058143) is available for order now and is scheduled to arrive in stores on August 17 with a cover price of $2.50 U.S. To ensure delivery on that date retailers must place orders by Sunday, August 7; please note that quantities will be limited and may sell out before August 7. DC urges retailers to place orders as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Retailers may order the issue by contacting their Diamond Customer Service Representative or DC Sales Representative, or by email at reorders@diamondcomics.com.
