What's Coming From Art Ayslum In 2004

We checked in with the folks at Art Asylum recently, who let us know about some cool things coming down the pike for everyone.

To start the new year off right Art Asylum's second series of Star Trek The Orginal Series figures will be released. This series will include Mirror versions of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock, along with Mr. Scott, Mr. Sulu and Checkov in their Orginal Series uniforms. Look for these to ship in January 2004 to round out the crew of the NCC-1701. These follow right on the heels of the very popular first series of figures which included Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy, Lt. Uhura and Khan.

Then to tide you over till the Fall of 2004, which is when their NCC 1701-E Starship Legends ship is slated to be released, they will be shipping out a Battle Damaged version of their highly detailed NCC-1701-A Enertprise ship.

This version of the Enterprise A will be done in the same way as the AFX exclusive NX-01 Battle Damaged ship. Look for this to ship in Febuary/March 04 as an Internet exclusive.

Star Trek isn't the only things coming from Art Asylum though. Besides lots of cool new figures being relased in their very popular Marvel Minimate line, they will also be debuting a new line of Lord Of The Rings Minimates. Look for these to be shown at the 2004 International Toy Fair next year.

This is one line LOTR fans won't want to miss out on, and speaking of Toy Fair, we are told they may have another big surprise for us to be shown there, but their lips were sealed as to what exactly that may be. We will just have to wait patiently till then and see.
