Forty-two years and 120 episodes after the animated series debuted on NBC (1964) Underdog is still fighting crime with rhyme, racing to danger singing “When there's trouble I am not slow. It's up, up, up and away I go!”

The pop-culture icon, Underdog, is poised for his big screen debut with a live-action/CGI effects feature now filming, from SPYGLASS ENTERTAINMENT (Bruce Almighty, Seabiscuit, Sixth Sense) and Classic Media and brought to the screen by DISNEY.

New DVD releases of the original animated series will coincide with the launch of the feature film as well as an updated, hip-hop, music driven, 2-D animated Underdog series for fall ‘07. Twenty-six episodes are planned with writers JORDAN ALLEN-DUTTON and ERIK WEINER (Robot Chicken) on board. TREVOR VAN METER will art direct.

A broad assortment of Underdog branded consumer products will hit the market this year. Classic Underdog PVC action figures from MEZCO TOYZ will be released in July just prior to the August release of the film. The assortment includes: Underdog, Polly Purebred, Simon Barsinister, Riff Raff.

The Underdog cartoon series is one of the most recognized animated super-heroes series of all time. There's a lot of buzz around Underdog for 2007!

Mezco is thrilled to announce the first series of Underdog figures timed perfectly with the revival of the old and the arrival of the new Underdog for adult fans and children alike. The first series includes:

· Underdog
