Elkridge, MD (December 8, 2004) – After a great deal of speculation and rumor in collectors’ circles, Palisades Toys is pleased to confirm the acquisition of it’s newest action figure license – Sesame Street™! Beginning in 2005, fans can expect to see action figures based on many of the characters that have appeared on Sesame Street throughout its historic 35 year run.

“This license made sense for us on a variety of levels,” said Palisades President & CEO, Michael Horn, “First of all, Palisades has already proven that it’s up to the task of brining these puppets to life as action figures.” Horn added, “Plus, it’s a show that is on television every day, and has a huge fan-base worldwide. The first figure to be released – Palisades’ 2005 “Tour” Figure – will be Super Grover™. Super Grover will feature interchangeable heads (Super Grover and Grover Kent), a cloth cape and trench coat, and a phone booth.
