Palisades Marketing Announces Name Change, Effective Immediately

Elkridge, MD (January 13, 2005) – At the outset of a year certain to be filled with many exciting changes, Palisades Marketing has officially changed its name to Palisades Entertainment, LLC.

“The decision to change our name came about for two distinctly different reasons,” commented Palisades President & CEO, Michael Horn, “First of all, Palisades has a growing catalogue of independent properties, including Crittaz and Freakables. There has been substantial interest from the Hollywood community, in terms of translating these new properties into film and television, video games, and comic books. Palisades looks to extend its reach into these genres throughout 2005 and beyond.

“Secondly, the products that we manufacture are entertainment. The people who buy and collect Palisades’ toys are making a conscious decision to spend their money on these toys because it brings them joy.” Horn adds, “For many, collecting has the same entertainment value as watching a movie or listening to one’s favorite music.”
