“Project Vinyl” is a new convention show that will focus on the designer toy and art scene. It will include a custom show called “The Short Fuse,” along with; artist signings, show exclusives, live painting sessions, the Art of Gaming Show, and much more. There will also be a DJ performance as well as a local artist display section. “Project Vinyl” will take up 2,000 square feet of convention space, so there will be much to see and do within this part of the convention. As a part of Project Vinyl, Me Llamo Jellyfish has teamed up with DKE Toys and several independent companies, studios, and artists to bring you a huge toy exhibition. Included in the exhibition will be items from:

For “The Short Fuse”, we have sent a Blow-Up Doll (B.U.D.) from Jamungo (

The Art of Gaming exhibition, sponsored by Pelican, will showcase the talents of urban artists applied to both Xbox 360 and PSP faceplates. Gaming is a huge part of our culture and so it's only fitting that it provides yet another canvas for artistic expression. Eric Orr (
www.ericorrart.com), founder of The Art of Gaming, will also be on site, along with other Art of Gaming artists.
Me Llamo Jellyfish (
www.mellamojellyfish.com), the event organizers, will also have a display booth offering the crowd a truly unique experience. Take a trip under the sea as the Jellyfish crew brings the depths of the ocean to Project Vinyl. Browse through all of Me Llamo Jellyfish’s upcoming projects and meet and greet the artists.
The show will be featured at the 18th Annual Florida Extravaganza, January 26 – 28, 2007. The Florida Extravaganza (
www.fxshow.com), or FX, is currently 8 shows in one; Comic-Con, Toy & Collectible Show, Doll & Bear Expo, Sci-Fi & Fantasy Fair, Festival of Horror, Rock ‘n’ Roll & Record Fest, Sports Memorabilia, and an Anime Gaming Event. FX will be held in the beautiful, modern Orange County Convention Center. By joining with FX, we will be able to reach out to not only fans of designer toys, but other types of people that we wouldn’t necessarily reach at a smaller event or venue. Our goal is to educate and excite fans and consumers here in the South East and establish a strong presence within the Designer Toy community.
As you can see, we are serious about our commitment to the urban vinyl art scene and we are preparing to have this show be a spectacular event. So in conclusion: FX + Project Vinyl + The Short Fuse + The Art of Gaming + Me Llamo Jellyfish + Much, Much More = One MEGA event that you will NOT want to miss.
