BATMAN: NEW TIMES is a student project, undertaken by the December 2004 Graduating Class of The DAVE School in Orlando, Florida. Written and Directed by the team of William Vaughan and Jeff Sheetz this fast-paced animated adventure follows the exploits of Bruce Wayne as BATMAN, played by ADAM WEST, the one and only true BATMAN. Bruce risks everything to deliver GOTHAM CITY from the vile JOKER, voiced by MARK HAMILL. The JOKER and his henchmen do all they can to spoil GOTHAM'S New Years Eve party. Animated star HARLEY QUINN joins the fray, throwing everything she can in BATMAN'S way. You'll have to watch the movie to find out more, but expect plenty of twists and turns as The DAVE School Students take you on a wild ride that's sure to leave you breathless.
In partnership with Art Asylum ToysThe DAVE School Students have built a vibrant 3D world out of new C3 toys. Every set, every prop and every character has been precisely modelled according to strict scale specifications. Almost every location, vehicle and character has been, or could be, built out of the popular plastic blocks.
What is the DAVE School?
The DAVE School teaches a single program in four 12-week quarters, and can be completed in just less than one year. Students create a variety of projects, from post-production compositing to 3D Modelling and Character Animation. This program is designed to give students practical skills in most aspects of computer animation.
The DAVE School has assembled a high-power team of voice talent to match the high-voltage animation of the December Graduates. TV's original BATMAN -
ADAM WEST - signed on early to this exciting project. Fans of the original series will recognize his signature style and over-the-top performance. Mr. West is joined by
MARK HAMILL who's unmatched abilities to transform himself again and again perfectly match his role as the vile villain JOKER. As a huge fan of the original BATMAN television series MARK HAMILL could barely contain his excitement at joining on to play the part of the meanest man (and toy) to haunt the BATMAN universe. We've collected a high-quality professional team of voice actors to fill the roles of our other animated stars, and listen closely for a few DAVE School students who lent their voice talent to this excellent cast!
Also
COURTNEY THORNE-SMITH will be doing the voice for Catwoman.
