XBox.com has reported that Neill Blomkamp will make his big-screen directing debut on the movie adaptation of Bungie's videogame blockbuster Halo. Well known for his work on commercials and James Cameron's Dark Angel television series which he was nominated for an Emmy for. Halo will be produced by Scott Stuber Peter Schlessel and Mary Parent, and production is slated to start in New Zealand for a summer 2008 release.
