Andre Braugher Joins The Cast For Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Andre Braugher who recently played the captain in the Poseidon re-make has signed on for a role in the upcoming super hero sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Braugher joins a cast that includes Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans and Kerry Washington. It has been reported that Braugher passed up a role on NBC's long running ER series for this role, which is said to be of a military general. Filming for the movie is slated to begin on August 31 and is due to be released in theaters next summer, June 15, 2007.
