The Goonies 2 bites the dust!

IESB caught up with "Bourne Supremacy" Producer Frank Marshall who confirmed that plans for a "Goonies" sequel have fallen through.

Marshall says the film, which Richard Donner has been trying to get going for a number of years and would've focused on the old gang teaming with some newbies, is "never going to happen".

Recent rumblings have it that Warner - the studio behind the first film - just weren't as excited at the prospect of a "Goonies 2" as Director Donner was.

Marshall has better news for "Bourne" fans - he says a third film in that series - expectedly with Matt Damon - is on the cards.
