J.J Abrams directing “Mission: Impossible 3”?

“Alias” creator J.J Abrams directing “Mission: Impossible 3”? That might just work.

Cinescape reports that Abrams, who’s basically a pro when it comes to penning spy-storylines and a stinky squirrel when it comes to penning “Superman” movies, has signed with Paramount to direct the Tom Cruise blockbuster.

Aint it Cool added that Abrams was recently spotted talking to Cruise on the set of “Alias”, so there might be more than a morsel of truth to this baby.

If it is true, you can almost guarantee Greg Grunberg’s going to have a cameo, possibly as Cruise's long-lost brother.
