Director And Actor Confirmed For 'DOOM'

by Outsiders
September 14, 2004
The news has hit the web confirming what the millions and millions of fans around the world have been waiting for (sorry, always wanted to do that).

The news has come fresh and fast that the most electrifying man in sports entertainment (and 'Be Cool' from the rumours), The Rock is indeed starring in "Doom", the story of Space Marines fighting evil Hell-Spawned demons on a remote space station.

Alongside that news is the confirmation that the Director is none other than Andrzej Bartkowiak, the man behind "Romeo Must Die" & "Cradle 2 The Grave".

Some people might cringe at that news, but hey, remember that this is the guy who got Steven Seagal an actual Theatrical Release with "Exit Wounds" after years of direct-to-video hell.

Plus, chances are "Doom" ain't gonna be the most story-driven film around, so think of the action scenes in "Romeo Must Die" combined with The Rock, and I'm thinking he's gonna slap the lips off of those candy assed sons a bitches (sorry, did it again).
