Following the good word that The Rock is all set to star in the Video Game to Movie of "Doom", is the news that Karl Urban, who featured in the blockbuster "The Bourne Supremacy", has signed on the dotted line to play a character named John Grimm, a member of the Marine Corp. who helps The Rock battle the evil demon thingies.
Principal photography is expected to begin before December, with a release of Fall 2005 in mind, under the direction of Andrzej Bartkowiak ("Romeo Must Die").
