The Punisher 2 Will Open With....

Thomas, er Tommy, er Tom, TJ, seems pretty keen to get going on "The Punisher" sequel (can't blame the guy, it was a game of spot the seated at screenings of "Stander" I hear)and got blabbing about it - again - to Movie Zone.

Jane - I liked the guy as Frank Castle actually, he seemed to have it down pat. It's usually a hit or miss with Marvel movies when it comes to casting, but they nailed it with this one. Keanu Reeves is the guy they're talking about for 'Gambit' in "X-Men 3". Obviously someone needs a clue, or atleast an appointment with Hensleigh's casting agent - tells the site that they've already decided how the sequel will open. "I know that the scene at the end of the first Punisher where I go up and take everybody out, that’s going to be the opening of Punisher 2 where he’ll be taking out another set of guys in another place – whole other context", he tells.

"The Punisher 2" won't be happening for a while - in that time, I hope Jane can convince the studio to cast Michael Keaton as Jigsaw, who he suggested earlier in the year for the part. That would rock more than a bub's cradle - because Jane's going to be busy with his "Glen Shirley" biopic for quite a bit. But - as the guy John Holmes replaced once said - It is coming.

Rumour has it that the storyline of the sequel might be based on comic "The Punisher : War Zone".
