Cleese Returns as the King in Shrek 3

John Cleese has confirmed, via the newsletter sent out montly from his official website, that he will return as the voice of the King in DreamWorks Animation's Shrek 3, slated for a May, 2007 release.

Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, and Antonio Banderas are expected to reprise their respective roles. Sarah Jessica Parker is rumored to be providing a voice as well.

Not much is known about the third installment other than that Shrek may contend with King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table
