Screen Daily reports that Paramount Pictures may move the production of Watchmen to another studio besides Pinewood Studios in order to curb the film's $120M budget.
The big-screen adaptation of the Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons graphic novel has been rattled lately by a regime change at Paramount and concerns that the budget is too high for such a project.
Producer Lloyd Levin advised the trade paper that the exchange rate of the US dollar to the British pound is one of the reasons for the proposed change.
