EastEnders actress Kacey Ainsworth won't be appearing in Desperate Housewives after all, according to The Mirror today.
Ainsworth's EastEnders co-star Shane Richie (Alfie Moon) revealed that she would be joining the hit US show as a British nanny, at the British Soap Awards last weekend.
However, Kacey's agent has now denied the rumours.
"Kacey categorically hasn't ever been approached by Desperate Housewives," Kacey's agent told the newspaper.
Desperate Housewives star James Denton has claimed that reports over his plans to move house have been "sensationalised".
The actor recently revealed that he is planning to move away from his home in Glendale, California, after a US magazine printed pictures of it, allowing fans to work out where he lives and make unwanted visits.
"It sounds a little paranoid and they actually sensationalised it, I was gonna say a little, but a lot," Denton explained. "We've had some people stop by and it's not that big a deal but when you have a kid you wanna take some precautions.
"A national magazine ran a picture of the front of our house and I don't live in a compound, as you know. It's right there on the street. There's not even a gate."
