EMMY AND GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD-WINNING “ALIAS” RETURNS TO THE ABC SCHEDULE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19

“The Ten Commandments” Airs April 10 &11, “Hope and Faith” Returns Tuesday, March 21 and “Invasion” Returns Wednesday, April 19 “What About Brian” Premiere Moves to Sunday, April 16, And Airs Regularly on Mondays, Beginning April 17

The Emmy Award-winning spy drama, “Alias,” returns to the ABC primetime schedule with a two-hour event on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), and will air in its regular time period thereafter on WEDNESDAYS (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).

Jennifer Garner stars in her Golden Globe Award-winning role as CIA agent Sydney Bristow in this non-stop thrill ride through espionage, adventure and heart-wrenching drama. The electrifying return event includes the birth of Sydney’s baby and reappearance of Michael Vaughn (Michael Vartan).

Upcoming episodes will reveal the outcome of Sloane’s unholy alliance in his search for the cure for daughter Nadia (Mia Maestro) and the endgame of the Rambaldi prophecy. Other familiar faces from the past will crop up in Sydney’s life – for better or worse -- including best friend Will Tippin (Bradley Cooper), mother Irina Derevko (Lena Olin), and nemeses Julian Sark (David Anders) and Anna Espinosa (Gina Torres). The series, which is filmed in Los Angeles and premiered on September 30, 2001, is from Touchstone Television.

Additionally, the epic, four-hour ABC Premiere Event, “The Ten Commandments,” will air in two parts, MONDAY, APRIL 10 & TUESDAY, APRIL 11 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET, both nights). “The Ten Commandments,” which is from Hallmark Entertainment, is a truly inspiring motion picture event. Shot on location in Ouarzazate, Morocco with a stellar international cast, it unfolds with all the spectacle, human drama and grand inspiration that has earned its stature as the greatest story ever told.

The cast features Dougray Scott (“Ever After,” ABC/Hallmark’s “Arabian Nights”) as Moses, Naveen Andrews (“Lost,” “Bride and Prejudice”) as Menerith, Omar Sharif (“Doctor Zhivago,” “Lawrence of Arabia”) as Jethro, , Linus Roache (“The Chronicles of Riddick”) as Aaron, Mia Maestro (“Alias”) as Zipporah and Padma Lakshmi (“Sharpe’s Challenge,” “Mistress of Spices”) as Princess Bithia.

Robert Dornhelm (“Anne Frank,” USA Network’s “Spartacus,” “Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story”) directs the script by Ron Hutchinson (“The Island of Dr. Moreau,” ”Traffic”). Robert Halmi, Sr. is the executive producer. “The Ten Commandments” is a production of Hallmark Entertainment.
