The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Sony Pictures Television has launched Culver Entertainment, a company focused on developing and producing drama, comedy and animated series exclusively for DVD and international distribution. One of those will be a new animated Spider-Man series. The first 13 half-hour episodes of the show are expected to be released next year some time.
