Not even at that price, for me. Looking at comparisons it really is a pale shadow of the original. They cut a few too many corners with this one, and the figures just don't properly fit with a lot of the features. But that's me, my collection is perfectly fine without it. Originally, I was really looking forward to this, sadly.
If this drops to 50 I'll definitely buy
Maaaan I wish I bought my friends complete for 150 original. He sold it for 2 and change but was giving me the friend deal. I still have mine from when I was a kid but it turned Super Nintendo color from years in the attic .. depressing. Think Ill cancel one of my 2 pre orders. Why didnt they just do exact replica!?
So it IS smaller. I got that sense from the promo pics and it kind of talked me out of it. I was jealous of my cousin's original growing up, but even then I felt it was a little undersized.
Shown below via 2ndtimearoundtoysandcomics is an in-hand look at the new from . Currently sold out, hopefully in time, you can purchase this set from Amazon with a suggested retail price of $79.99 again. This new Technodrome appears to be much smaller then the original one released.
Now we just need a sewer lair for it to connect too.....
Looks cool but I'm not collecting that scale of the TMNT...???
I never had the original Technodrome.
I pre-ordered this the second I found out it was available.
Ive already put together the original sewer lair playset bit by bit off E-bay
And I always wanted to have and connect the two playsets together since I was a kid so if there has been changes made to this reissue
I hope that it is still at least compatible with the original sewer pipes!
Some people online is already making comparisons with the original vintage and apparently this new version is about an inch and a half smaller.
Now l feel 12 again .. this is a must get for every TMNT fan ..even if it was in his 40s
