Kind of neat. I remember Bandai's 2010 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers figurines similar to this concept. Either way, this Playmates set seems to fit with some of their upcoming Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon toyline(AKA: Mutant Mayham cartoon series toyline) in the mix and match concept. I'm sure we'll see some figurine packs coming out as well, so that kids(And maybe some collectors) can mix and match with unlimited parts(Depending on how far and long this 2.5" line lasts).
Basically something Bandai released back in 2010. I know they had it for Ben 10 and Power Rangers. I had the Power Rangers one, but only because the device that pulled the figures apart and put them back together was shaped like the Green Ranger's Power Morpher.
