I dont think they thought this one through. Also when you take over a property you should probably make something better or at least on par with the last company but not inferior.
They announced they'd be doing some sort of remaster of season 1 for Netflix and Youtube, set to launch in July, that I assume they hope will get kids interested in the line. They also said, at least for the toyline, it is planned to be at leaast 3 years, covering all of the Mighty Morphin seasons.

Yeah, of all the companies to license product too....
dead on arrival
32 years and they still take pictures of the Megazord without flipping up the shoulder armor...
Ew those proportions, I get it it's for kids and these are the headflippers...which always were atrocious things, sadly modern technology couldn't save these, they look awful, isn't there a way to make these look less like someone's fat uncles and aunts are cosplaying as rangers?..eh whatever, not for me, but If you wanted some ugly head flipper, I swear the re-releases of the old ones are probably floating around still.
for $20 i'd rather of had a 2 pack set with the Ranger in suit and then civilian wear, the bodies just look too badly proportioned.
that said, i'll still prolly pick up Pink...

Has Playmates ever done a good collector-focused line? I think a mass market Turtles-esque line is really the best anyone could hope for with them taking the helm.Shame - was really hoping to have something that would be semi-compatible with Lightning Collection.
Judging by the weapons proportions this is definitely not a collectors line
