The final Beyithirr add-on set that still needed to reach a minimum order goal to guarantee production has met its goal. THE EPIC WINGS SET IS NOW FUNDED! This means that the giant extra wings for Beyithirr, as well as the Ashen Zombie figure that is included in that set, will now be produced! The Horsemen are so happy to have all 3 of the main items in the Beyithirr campaign now unlocked - the Beyithirr dragon, Fiery Breath add-on set, and the Epic Wings. This means we are solely focused on stretch goal unlocks as we enter the tail end of this campaign. Here is where we stand as of this morning.
The Epic wings have just crept over their minimum order mark and now stand at 1002 units sold. Our next milestone for that set is 1250 units, which unlocks the Ashen Zombie upgrade set. The Fiery Breath set is fully unlocked, including its stretch goal of the Burning Knight upgrade set, at 1272 units sold. Finally, the beast himself, the Beyithirr dragon, is at 2174 units sold as it climbs towards the 2500 threshold which unlocks the Sir Benegarr upgrade set.Time is running out to get your preorder in for these items. The sale ends on Sunday, 4/6/25 at 11pm EST. These items are available exclusively from StoreHorsemen.com. Get your preorder in before the Mythic Legions dragon flies away for good!
Forget about the idea of a mid-campaign slump! The Beyithirr campaign is on fire - literally! Thats because today the Horsemen are excited to announce that the Fiery Breath add-on set has met its stretch goal unlock at 1250 units sold (1251 to be exact)! This means that the Burning Knight upgrade set is now UNLOCKED and included at no extra charge with every single Fiery Breath add-on set that has been sold (and any additional ones that are preordered in this campaign). The Burning Knight upgrade set includes a new head (the skull in chainmail), a scorched shield, and a pair of lower arms and legs that are fully translucent to match the rest of the Burning Knight figure, which of course comes with the Fiery Breath add-on set already! You can see all the items that will now be included with the Burning Knight in this image.
The other add-on set, the Epic Wings, is also nearing an unlock threshold. That set is at 987 units sold, which is just 13 away from it being funded and guaranteed production! Finally, the Beyithirr dragon continues marching towards its first stretch goal unlock (Sir Benegarr upgrade set). We need 2500 units sold to get to that mark and we are now at 2153, which is 86% of the way to that threshold. The Beyithirr dragon and add-on sets are available exclusively at StoreHorsemen.com. Preorder ends on 4/6. Get your order in before time runs out on this historic action figure offering, which will NOT be offered for sale outside of this campaign, including at future live events or online sales. THIS is your chance to add the Mythic Legions dragon, and accompanying figures, to your collection!

If they can keep to $550 the way inflation has been hitting us in the next 3-5 years, we could hardly hope for a lower price. But if they could just make the dragon and not a mini wave of figures I'd rather save money and focus on the real star of the show. Another thing I'd like to see would be instead of buying another entire neck & head with an unarticulated open mouth... could we have a single optional segment extension and I don't know, a single dragon mouth that could both open and close and have a fire attachment at the same time? How about fully articulated wings that could bend at the elbow, not just the shoulder? Sometimes I feel like this project really could have spent more time hashing out the best possible engineering instead of making huge items that, unless I buy another loose dragon torso off ebay, are all going to need to stay tucked away in their packages. It's not like extra accessories I can throw in bins or diorama pieces somewhere.
A decrease in sheer size might be acceptable if they ever did a Bone Dragon or a Mechanical Dragon, but imo it would be a harder sell to downscale a scaled dragon because they'd be losing some of their greatest advantages: visual impact and the sense of breaking new ground. If they do end up going the route they'd have to make it so affordable they wouldn't need to crowdfund. But I'm just one peanut in the gallery.

I assume from that, "the five pillars," or whatever they're calling them, will not be repaints, and a red dragon may be entirely different from this guy.

No. I'm factoring in the work and production they would need to do and cost analysis from pushback on this one. This is just MY opinion, which as you know is valued greatly on the global market and with several national heads of state. But still its their product and they have to determine that. If they had a red (or any other variant really) already in the pipeline right now, sure, it could maybe arrive a year or two earlier. But they're gonna have to catch their breath and work in some new angles and that takes time.
Four Horsemen have some exciting news to share on the Beyithirr campaign this morning - The Fiery Breath set has reached its minimum funding goal! The announcement that Sir Benegarr will be included by default in the Beyithirr dragon set absolutely set the campaign on fire yesterday! We had one of our biggest days of the sale so far and it helped push all of these items higher! Here is where we stand: The Beyithirr dragon is at 1815 units sold! That is 91% to the funding goal for the dragon!
The Fiery Breath set is fully funded! As of this morning it stands at 1002 units sold, which is just over that minimum funding mark! Now we move onto the Fiery Breath stretch goal which is the Burning Knight upgrade set - you can see the extra head and lower arms/legs from that set used in the photo of the Burning Knight in this post. Those pieces unlock at 1250 units. Remember, the Burning Knight is included with this add-on set by default, so that figure is now locked in! The Epic Wings set stands at 817 units sold, which is 82% of the funding goal. With the Fiery Breath set now fully funded, we know some people have asked what happens if the add-on sets fund but not the dragon? The good news is it looks like that wont be an issue. With the dragon now at 91% to its funding goal and just under 3 weeks left in this campaign, we are more confident than ever that this campaign will exceed its minimum funding goal! That being said, we still have work to do so if you havent preordered your Beyithirr yet, now is a great time to do so to support this historic action figure campaign! You can get your preorder in exclusively at StoreHorsemen.com.
