Mattel Q&A For April 1, 2010 (Non-April Fools Edition)

TNI: Now that you have officially announced you are attending the c2e2 next month, can you tell us what you will have on display there for new product?

Mattel: We won’t have any new product to show off, but fans will be able to see in person many of the toys we premiered at NYTF!

TNI: Will we see both versions of Moss Man re-issued sometime down the road since both versions quickly sold out?

Mattel: Yes, eventually, that is the plan.

TNI: The new show Human Target that airs on the Fox Network seems to be gaining quite a lot of popularity with people. Since this show is based on a DC Comic, does that mean you could do figures based on the show. If so, are there any plans to do so?

Mattel: No, at this time Human Target is not part of our DCU contract with Warner Bros.

TNI: Hasbro hold conventions each year for Transformers and G.I.Joe, have you ever considered doing something similar for MOTU?

Mattel: This is something we are looking into but nothing to announce just yet.

TNI: We couldn't help notice Toys R' Us is showing an image on their website of the DCUC VS MOTUC 2-pack that looks different from the one actually released. Was the one shown online an early mock up, or was this some type of running change?

Mattel: We caught this as well and it has been corrected! It was an early mock up.
