When the Mattel team puts this up for preorder I really hope the provide some exact dimensions on it that way we can spend that year they spend making it figuring out where were going to display it.

I current have pretty much every toy line playset Ive ever been interested in, in one of my toy rooms and thus have gotten down to the point where there are only 2 left Im looking forvintage Eternia, and Volcan Rock from Power Lords. And in the case of the latter Ive sort of resigned myself to the idea that I may not get it due to space as other collections such as TMNT and Thundercats have continued to expand and take up more room where I could have put a Power Lords playset. But Eternia is one I still need and when I built my display cabinets I specifically measured the shelves on my largest MOTU cabinet so it could fit Eternia on my primary vintage shelf. Now Im wondering if I should move my vintage line somewhere else on display and give that large shelf to origins (origins is on track to surpass the vintage line in terms of numbers of figures and they keep adding more playsets and vehicles). Ill still be hoping to add a vintage Eternia one day just to have a complete vintage line but who knows when/if that will happen. The thing is this new Eternia based on eyeballing it in the display looks like it might be slightly taller as Mattel has added a couple of features lacking from the vintage one. So Im not sure my shelf on this cabinet will provide enough clearance if it is in fact slightly taller

Thankfully I'm good on that 4 Pack of He-Mans, Eternia Playset looks insane, but I don't have a place for that, gimme Snake Mountain and I'm good happy we are seeing some Rattlor, Cobra Khan and King Hiss.

I'm in the same boat with you. Not getting Eternia, because of the space but will pull the trigger when Snake Mountain is released...???

Any idea what is up with all these insane exclusives? Seriously, no 40th anniversary skeletor for wide release? It's like they are allergic to money with all these exclusives

Seriously...I love the direction the origins line is going...a few minor complaints with choices for releases..but meh. But making BOTH Grizzlor exclusives? That's insane...what are you thinking Mattel?

Great question. Mattel creations is in my opinion the worst buying experience out there. I often wonder why they allow these types of consumer frustrations to drive people away from their products.

Yesterday Mattel held a Masters of the Universe panel at their 2022 San Diego Comic Con booth where they debuted several new products. For the Materverse line they showed for the first time their Revelations Evil-Lyn as the Sorceress and Roboto. For the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Netfilx series they brought out their Castle Grayskull playset which had been announced earlier in the year.

Finally for the Origins line which will be focusing on the Rise Of The Snake Men theme with new packaging will see new figures including King Hiss, Rattlor, Snake-Armor He-Man, Bolt-Man (Sun-Man) and Camo Kahn which will be released as a MattelCreations exclusive. Check out looks at them below via Pixel-Dan.
