These things are great and all but there's no reason why these should cost $300 each. They're glorified 5POA figures with a simple action feature. You're paying the nostalgia tax on this one. I have two of those Skeletors and they're unique but these shouldn't even cost half of what they're asking and they're absolutely WORTHLESS on the secondary market if you ever wanted to sell it off. They go for retail or sometimes less than retail and even for the more rare all black Skeletor. The ones that have $400+ price tags usually don't sell and sit on there for months.

In '77 these would have been about $60 (price adjusted for inflation). Even if they are using a different plastic like Super 7 did with their Star Wars Jumbos, this price point is going to kill the line.Really, only Bandai was successful at relaunching the Jumbo Machinder/Shogun Warrriors style with the Power Rangers in 2003 - because you got a big toy, with limited movement, at a good price and you could walk into Wal-Mart and get them. Bandai/Popyalso brought back the repros overseas at a decent (but high price) but that was for collectors - as these are - but it was STILL less expensive than this offering.

They look cool but that price is not for me...?
